On May 8th, two foreign guests from the University
of New South Wales (UNSW), John Piggott, associate dean
of Faculty of Business, and Anne Gordon, manager of
Research Office, visited the School of Business of Renmin
University of China (RBS). They were warmly received
by Prof. Mao Jiye, associate dean of RBS. more

was successfully held in RUC |

On March 30th, with the joint effort of the School
of Public Administration and RBS, the 8th Roundtable
of CBLF was held in Yifu Conference Center at campus.
Topic for today's roundtable was "Tendering and
procurement¡± that has been discussed in a roundtable
in 2005, and the revisit of this topic aimed to explore
new research findings and results. more

On March 5, 2007, delegates from Pepperdine University,
U.S.A, visited RBS. Terry Young, Director of Global
Program (Asia) and Alisa Lopez, International Director
met with Prof. Mao Jiye, Associate Dean of RBS, Prof.
Liu, Director of MBA program, and Prof. Feng, Director
of International Program in Business Building.more

| 2007 New Year's Gala Dinner
was held in Friendship Hotel by RBS |
|
On December 29th, RBS held the 2007 New Year's Gala
Dinner in the Friendship Hotel to hail the coming New
Year. Attendees included not only faculty members from
RBS, but also presidents of RUC, officials from the
Ministry of Education, leaders from companies, and successful
alumni who are working in different fields.more

| Selection of candidates for 2nd British Internship Program
was kicked off in RBS

Based on the cooperation between the Ministry of Education
of China and U.K., the two parties plan to send over
thousand Chinese university students (both undergraduates
and graduates) to U.K. for internship in companies such
as HSBC, JP Morgan etc.more

| RUC and Microsoft jointly
set up the first ERP laboratory in China |
|
On December 7th, the launching ceremony as well as
the press conference for RUC-Microsoft ERP lab was held
in RUC campus. On behalf of Microsoft Ltd. China, Guo
Xiuxian, the General Manager of MBS and Head of Manufacturing
Department in Microsoft Greater China, signed a cooperation
agreement with Prof. Lin Gang, Vice President of RUC
as the representative of the RUC side. more

from the University of Michigan gave a lecture entitled

On November 16th, 2006 EMBA (Autumn Cohort) Inauguration
ceremony was held in the School of Business, Renmin
University of China. Hong Dayong, Associate Dean of
School of Graduate Studies, Yi Zhihong, Dean of RBS,
Song Yuanfang, Associate Dean of RBS, and Wu Xiaoyu,
Associate Director of EMBA Center attended the ceremony.

On April 13th, 2006, 37 Danish MBA students organized by the Association of Chinese Students & Scholars in Denmark (ACSSD) and the Danish Younger Economist (YC) visited Renmin University of China and its School of Business.
