On December 7th, the launching ceremony as well as the press conference for RUC-Microsoft ERP lab was held in RUC campus. On behalf of Microsoft Ltd. China, Guo Xiuxian, the General Manager of MBS and Head of Manufacturing Department in Microsoft Greater China, signed a cooperation agreement with Prof. Lin Gang, Vice President of RUC as the representative of the RUC side. Officials from the Ministry of Education, Information Industry Department, Education Committee of Beijing, and CSIP also attended the ceremony.

Microsoft company presented its ERP product DynamicsTM AX to RUC, and RUC became the first China's university that will apply Microsoft DynamicsTM AX in ERP teaching and research.

As the core ERP product, DynamicsTM AX has attracted a large group of customers with its strong functionality and great adaptability since its launch in 2004. On the occasion of the formal launching of DynamicsTM AX4.0 (Chinese Version) in China as well as the support from CSIP, Microsoft and RUC kicked off the cooperative ERP lab program to facilitate ERP teaching and research in university and promote the nurturing of information-based inter-disciplinary talents for enterprises.

RUC-Microsoft ERP lab will be established in RBS to foremost facilitate the teaching and research practices in RBS. The success of the launching ceremony for RUC-Microsoft ERP lab signifies the substantial cooperation between the two sides, which will pave the way for further cooperation and collaborative development.
