On November 16th, 2006 EMBA (Autumn Cohort) Inauguration ceremony was held in the School of Business, Renmin University of China. Hong Dayong, Associate Dean of School of Graduate Studies, Yi Zhihong, Dean of RBS, Song Yuanfang, Associate Dean of RBS, and Wu Xiaoyu, Associate Director of EMBA Center attended the ceremony.

First of all, Associate Dean Hong Dayong expressed his congratulations to the opening of 2006 EMBA (Autumn Cohort) program, and he also introduced the history, faculty and features of RUC. After that, Dean Yi Zhihong of RBS remarked that RUC was the first university to have MBA and EMBA programs, which have gained an excellent reputation through years of development. These programs are equipped with outstanding faculty members, and she hoped that students would make great efforts jointly with RBS to make RBS a world class business school.

On behalf of all schoolmates, Yan Wuquan from Class 0601 talked about his own experience at RUC over the past half a year. Yao Dong from Inner-Mongolia and Yu Jizhong from Beijing United-wealth Company gave speeches as representatives of all new students. They expressed their gratitude to RUC for giving them such a precious opportunity to be back to university again, and they will return it back by excellent performance in university as well as future work.
