On March 30th, with the joint effort of the School of Public Administration and RBS, the 8th Roundtable of CBLF was held in Yifu Conference Center at campus. Topic for today's roundtable was "Tendering and procurement¡± that has been discussed in a roundtable in 2005, and the revisit of this topic aimed to explore new research findings and results.

Keynote speakers this time were: Mr. Peter Brew, Director of Corporate Practices of IBLF, Mr. Liu Dawei, Chief Accountant of National Development Bank, Mr. Cai Meng Manager of Development and Planning Office (China) of United Nations, Mr. Zhou Mingde, CEO of Beijing Phoenix City Real Estate Ltd. Co., and Mr. Gilbert Van Kerckhove, Director of Public Procurement Department of European Union China Business Association. Besides, Prof. Dong Keyong, Associate Dean of School of Public Administration and Prof. Yi, Dean of School of Business also commented on keynote speakers¡¯ speeches. Other attendees included EMBA students and some alumni from RBS.

The success of this roundtable was of great significance for participants and the development of related areas in China. It really provided us with new thoughts on resolving old problems. The 9th roundtable will come back again on May 11th.
