« EUROMED MARSEILLE »

EUROMED MARSEILLE and RENMIN undertake to set up a cooperative program in International Sports Management for students registered in RENMIN. The program will be organized in the following manner:

• One academic year of studies (the first year of the program) at RENMIN in Beijing, China. During this first academic year students will follow core management courses in Chinese and two (2) additional courses taught in English by EUROMED MARSEILLE faculty in the field of Sports Management.
• The second academic year, RENMIN students will transfer to EUROMED MARSEILLE where they will complete 10 modules or 300 contact hours of International Sports Management courses taught by EUROMED MARSEILLE faculty. The time frame of these courses will be from September to March.
• From March to June, RENMIN students will accomplish an 8 to 12-week internship/field study as a culmination of theoretical training applied in a live situation.
• From September to December, RENMIN students will complete their final project at RENMIN in Beijing, China. The validation and credits therein will be transferred to EUROMED MARSEILLE.
  

RECRUITMENT
RENMIN will select Master students who wish to enroll in this program and will present the application forms to EUROMED MARSEILLE for final approval on the basis of the regulations of its accrediting body.
Verification of English: the requirement for English is to be fluent enough to follow courses and do the assignments in English.
The minimum number of students necessary for the launching of the program is established at 15.

FINANCIAL TERMS
Students will enjoy the privileges and be subject to regulations of the Institution in which they study.
Tuition fees for RENMIN students completing their 2nd year in the Master in International Sports Management Program at EUROMED MASREILLE will be of 5,800€ to be paid to EUROMED MARSEILLE in full prior to their arrival in France.
EUROMED MARSEILLE will reserve housing at normal prices according to availability for RENMIN students and will issue acceptance letters for French visa application.
The cost of travel, room and board is the responsibility of each student and shall be paid from by his/her own funds.
The institutions shall oblige their students to keep and maintain in full effect the health insurance with coverage acceptable to the host institution and applicable to government requirements.

Six students from RBS will be assigned to study under the student exchange program in Autumn 2006 (3 undergraduates, 2 MBAs, and 1 postgraduate) with no fees (As usual, students just pay the tuition of their own school）. The duration of exchange study will be six months or one year (out of students' will).

Living plus incidental fees excluding rent will not exceed 740 Euro per month. The rent of students' dormitory is about 300 Euro per month. Other expenses are not much. (The first passel exchange students who have returned can give advice).

Candidates are required to pass TOFEL with a score of 560 (or computer-based score of 220), or IELTS with a score at least 6.5.

The selection requirements for nominees of RBS include: GPA and English interview. The interview time will be announced separately.
The registration is up to 15 April. Undergraduate students can sign up at the Undergraduate Educational Administration Office; MBA students can contact Ms. Li Miaoyi; postgraduate students can sign up at the Postgraduate Educational Administration Office.
