The Department of Trade and Economics is one of the seven departments of RBS and one of the departments with a long history and profound academic tradition of RUC. The Department of Trade and Economics today consists of two teaching and research sections with 18 faculty, and is responsible for the teaching and research work of 2 undergraduate majors (trade and economics and international business), 3 postgraduate majors (industrial economics, logistics economics and international trade) , and 2 doctoral research areas (industrial economics and logistics).

Under the general goal of “constructing world-class university”, and the three themes of “senses of base, characteristics, and world class”, the Department of Trade and Economics reviewed its present situation and made a systematic plan for its development in the five years to come.
