The RBS faces increasingly greater employment pressure due to the fiercer competition in the job market in China in recent years. However, the employment quality of RBS graduates has been high, and the overall employment rate of graduates is in top place compared with those of other schools or departments of RUC because the employment guidance of our school is based on features of each discipline, sufficient understanding of the employment trends in China, guiding principles of “Being responsible to employers, RUC and the graduate”, flexible employment policies and environment, and social practice conditions.

RBS cares about employment guidance and consulting for graduates, mainly provides training and guidance in terms of macroeconomic situation, SOE restructuring, industry features, HR system of enterprises, occupational ethics, tips in interviews by foreign enterprises, and self-assessment, and guides graduates to set up a correct concept of employment. RBS has set up a graduate employment information network that enables sufficient information exchanges between “the school, graduates and employers”.

Previous graduates of RBS mainly go to SOEs, publicly listed companies, foreign enterprises, joint ventures, private firms and government agencies in financial, commercial and trading industries; and educational and scientific research institutes. Some may pursue further education abroad.

With the profound accumulated academic legacy, RBS has set up its strategy to develop itself into the influential and prestigious education base for fostering personnel in management science research both nationally and internationally. It will cultivate more outstanding management talents adapt to the construction of socialist modernization.
